What's public
- Your display name, avatar, member-since date, points and badges.
- Your published reviews, threads, comments and crew recognitions.
Your email address and account details are never shown publicly.
Internal analytics
We record a minimal event when you submit a review, thread, comment, crew recognition, report or photo (event type, time, account). Admins use this to see activity trends, aggregate review and weather themes, and spot abuse such as point farming.
- No tracking of your browsing outside this site.
- No device fingerprinting.
- No third-party advertising trackers.
- We never sell or share personal member data (names, emails, account details, or anything that identifies you).
- We may share or license anonymized, aggregated rating statistics (for example, average food score per ship per month) with cruise lines or researchers. These never include your name, review text or photos, and any group with fewer than 5 reviewers is left out.
New cruise reviews, forum threads and crew recognition are checked by a moderator before they are published, and points are awarded on approval.
Member-specific operational data (points ledger, reports, moderation) is visible only to admins, enforced by the database.
AI processing
When you publish a cruise review, its text and scores may be sent to our AI provider to draft a summary. The draft is shown publicly only if you approve it.
Photos
Uploaded photos are re-encoded to remove location metadata and stored privately until approved.
Crew recognition
Praise is published here. It isn't sent to cruise lines automatically. Admins may export recognitions by line, ship and date to share with cruise line management.
